JSSADC are desperate for sport divers and above

JSSADC are desperate for sport divers and above to act as rescue divers during the open water phase of Ocean diver training.  The new regs state that they must have a rescue diver in the water with the instructor for all phases of training until the student is Ocean diver qualified.  This will have a significant effect on student throughput at the centre and they are always oversubscribed by about 400% at present.  This requirement now restricts JSSADC from 10 to only 6 students per course with thier current staff levels.  Any assistance from the branches will mean JSSADC can up the number of students per course.  As said they only need to Sport diver qualified and will be classed as on duty whilst at Bovisand.  Accommodation will be arranged but transport will be at own unit expense.

Please contact Ginge the JSSADC Rep directly for further info on jssadc@asada.org.uk

Please do not run your courses partly filled, if you have slots available on any courses you are running please email them to the ASADA for inclusion on this site.
